The Minister of Culture and Tourism, Pedro Alberto Cruz, today the First International Workshop on Water Painting, to be held in White from 3 to 7 May, and is the first activity of the Foundation Pedro Cano.

This workshop itself and acquires a significant importance in the recent history of culture in the Murcia region, "said Cruz.

Cruz was referring to the "exceptional nature" of this call, which will focus on watercolor, a technique that has to Pedro Cano as "one of the finest contemporary cultivators" and, moreover, shows that "it is immaterial whether a technique has centuries or so, as the artist of Blanca "renews in each of its parts."
The workshop has received over a hundred applications from Italy, Canada, Greece, Italy and Spain, among which 25 were selected initially, which later expanded to 34 participants.
Pedro Cano taught this course every year in May, coinciding with the month of flowering.
White has become, through the Landscape Workshops that began in 1997, "in a reference in terms of painting workshops in the Spanish Levant," concluded the director.
