On the occasion of the celebration, on 23 April, the World Book Day, Blanca, Villa del Libro (BVL) is celebrating a week devoted to literature, with various cultural activities aimed at every part of the municipality which will run until Sunday 25

Workshops of short stories, literary lectures, meetings with writers, literary competitions, concerts and solidarity activities are outlined in the list of activities that the City of White has prepared to celebrate a week on the book.

The scheduled activities are aimed at all groups in the municipality.

So that today they have begun storytelling workshops in conciliation centers, where children have enjoyed the charm of the rat smug, the three little pigs or Little Red Riding Hood.

Another collective literary enjoy this week are the elderly, with a contest of compliments, which recall the art of subtle seduction that employed in his youth.

Among the most innovative highlights in braille reading workshop to be held at the Colegio La Milagrosa, on Friday at 9.30 am.

This day coincides with the global celebration of World Book Day, in which the Hall has prepared entertainment in the plaza of the Church, where he read the manifesto of Blanca Villa del Libro.

The week the book is organized under the cultural project Blanca, Villa's Book You joined the town, last year, with 15 other European countries, among which France, England, Switzerland, Russia, Germany, Norway , Italy, Belgium, Holland, Scotland, Finland and Wales.

In Spain, only Urueña Valladolid town, belongs to this network the rights to the name of "Villa del Libro."
