The Ministry of Public Works and Planning, through the Directorate General of Highways, is implementing the expansion works RM-553 highway, which connects the motorway White A-30 (Madrid-Albacete), which involve the adding a third lane that will bring more speed and fluidity to the movement.

Also, the director general said that "increased traffic on this road demanded the construction of an additional lane for slow traffic, and which, being on a slope some sections of the road, heavy vehicles slowing down the movement."
Thus, the action will avoid the danger posed by overtaking on the ramp to the extension of the platform from nine to 12 meters, so that there will be three lanes of 3.5 meters and one meter shoulders.
The project will be completed with the installation of new signage and the corresponding beacon.
Also adjust any access roads affected by the performance.
Finally, the general manager announced that in addition to this project, the Ministry of Public Works and Planning will expand a new stretch of road.
"This second performance, which is currently under contract, represent the culmination of the work on improving the access road to the town of Blanca, which will translate into more agile and safe travel for more than 6,200 inhabitants municipality, "he said.
