The opening ceremony was attended by the Mayor of the municipality, Rafael Laorden, and the president of the local board of the AECC, Maria Trinidad Carrasco.
The local board of the Spanish Association Against Cancer in White and photographer Julia Moreno presented in the Municipal Exhibition Hall of the town an exhibition entitled "Emotions."
The show, which comes from fear to hope for the sick, will run until 14 February.
The president of the Association Against Cancer, Maria Trinidad Carrasco, said that "Emotions" goes beyond a simple statement because it is something that fills you with life and feelings.
The exhibition runs through a great visual story of many people suffering from cancer who are diagnosed, through treatment and, in many cases its recovery.
Admission is free.
It offers the audience an agenda for the year 2010 with all the pictures and poems that make up the exhibition, in exchange for a donation of 10 euros, whose benefits will be integrated to work with the Spanish Association Against Cancer.
