The Department of Women of the City of White along with various local groups have honored today to women because of gender violence were violated, discriminated against and even killed by their partners.
The events that have filled the town of ties have been carried out to commemorate the International Day for the Elimination of Violence against Women.
The Councillor for Women, M ª Carmen Rios, stressed the importance of education to eradicate gender violence, and that "children are the hope of ending the violence.
Only culture and training, advocacy with schools, can contribute to a more equal future without violence, "said Rios, who has wanted to add that the fight against gender violence is not about a day or the person suffering, but abuse is everyone's business.
The day began with the laying of ties and reading the manifesto, after what has been viewing two videos in order to raise awareness and involve them in the eradication of gender violence.
