White City Council, through its Department of Environment has organized a program of activities aimed at students from Schools of White, to commemorate the World Environment Day, which was held today, June 5 .
The activities to be undertaken has been to sponsor a tree planting and, to green clay and see the film 'Earth'.
Students CEIP Antonio Molina, CEIP Virgen del Pilar and La Milagrosa Blanca DC, participated in various activities through which they have learned to be more sympathetic to nature and the environment of the municipality.
All activities aimed at primary school children, have been developed throughout the morning.
On the one hand, the first and second children have learned to make organic play dough, made with oil, flour and water.
Compared with the students of third and fourth, have known the wonders of 'mother nature' by the screening of the documentary "Earth", Museum and Interpretation Centre of Water and Light, where he also received some lessons about the cycle water.
Finally, the fifth and sixth children were taken to Parque de las Cuevas, where groups have planted 40 trees, which have also been sponsored name, to take charge of caring for your tree and see how it grows slowly.
José María Molina Trigueros, Councillor for the Environment, has accompanied the students in activities organized by the council.
