The Department of Youth through the Youth Association Nomads, has managed to raise about 500 toys that will be sent to children in the Philippines.
In an official ceremony, the councilman of Youth, Jorge Molina, along with members of the association Nomads has delivered toys to children ASPROFIL President, Association for the Advancement of the Philippines, May Pioquinto Montealto.
The Department of Youth of the City of White, through the youth association Nomads, has managed to raise about 500 toys that will be sent to children in the Philippines.
The toys were collected during the Christmas through the second day of solidarity "A toy, an illusion."
This initiative emerged from the hands of nomads, a youth association, a year ago, organized this charity campaign to collect toys for underprivileged children, and this year have exceeded all expectations.
"We are surprised at the amount of toys that are donated" said Jorge Molina, Councillor for Youth, who went on thanking "the participation that all children in the town have been to this initiative."
In an official ceremony, Molina, along with members of the association Nomads, has delivered toys to children ASPROFIL president, charity, cultural, nonprofit, for the Promotion of the Philippines, May Pioquinto Montealto.
Besides being the President, May is the honorary representative of the Philippines trade and investment in Spain, and lost no opportunity to thank the people of White solidarity with children in the Philippines.
