Merchants and artisans from White celebrated the latest edition of the craft market of the year with hope and expectancy in 2009 continue to grow in quality and number of visitors.
This initiative came about through the council's Consumer Consistory of Blanca, in order to organize the last Sunday of each month, a craft market where visitors can purchase products and enjoy the typical cuisine of the people.
The councilman of Consumption, José M ª Molina, said at the opening of this latest edition of the year, their satisfaction and appreciation to the Merchants' Association of the municipality, because "without their support and collaboration has not been possible to make this market already has become a reference for all lovers Murcia local crafts. "
In this issue, artisans and merchants who wanted to expose their products to give a touch of Christmas, dressed in Santa hats, livening up the market with carols and inviting all visitors to gachasmigas, a typical dish for the holidays.
Among other products, visitors can buy carpets of straw, pottery, clothing, books, land sausages, frying pans, dolls, cheese, homemade pastries, and a myriad of objects all made using traditional methods.
Some of the products displayed were not put on sale because of its historical or personal.
As it has done, was raffled off a check for one hundred euros.
The White Tourist Office offered to anyone who requested it, a tourist guide to discover the most beautiful and emblematic of the municipality.
