High school students in the municipality of Blanca enjoy this year of a new pavilion at the IES Valle del Segura.
This morning, Mayor White, Pedro Luis Molina, and the Councillor for Public Safety, Francisco Javier Rodriguez, visited the new facilities next to the municipal officers to check that everything is ready for the start of the school year.
With this expansion, the institute acquired a new pavilion of 225 square meters and a multipurpose room of 97 square meters made with the use of a porch located in the west wing of the existing building.
The new wing consists of ground floor and first floor with enclosure prepared for a plant.
The ground floor houses three classrooms of 44 square meters each, two offices of 21 square meters and a warehouse.
It is equipped with a power LED lighting system and installation of air conditioning and heating.
In building it used a monolithic structural system of reinforced concrete waffle slabs and foundation for piloting.
The enclosure was made with face brick exterior image respecting the existing building.
