The next Saturday, February 14 at 18 am, the town of White hosts the celebration of its traditional carnival parade organized by the Department of Youth and Culture where the best troupes participants are rewarded.
The City of White, through its Department of Youth and Culture launched, once again, preparing to celebrate its traditional parade and carnival costume contest scheduled for Saturday February 14 at 18 am.
This year, the parade will feature participation of two invited troupes, "Ballet Sandra" and "Cinnamon and Clove" which together with groups listed the contest will fill the streets of the town of music and fun.
The costume contest will consist of two modalities, children and adolescents.
All children will compete for a first prize of 70 euros and a second and third 50 and 30 euros, respectively.
For its part, the modality for adults will have a first prize of 120 euros and a second and third prize of 75 and 50 euros, respectively.
The square of the Church will be the start and end of the street parade will travel José Antonio, Gran Vía, Juan Ramón Jiménez and Cervantes.
The jury participating troupes during the tour and will announce the winners at the end of the parade.
