White Township celebrates the procession of Candlemas

As tradition dictates, a Mass was celebrated by children born in the previous year, which follows the procession in which infants with their mothers children, carrying a candle as a symbol of purification involved.

The procession has toured the main streets of town enlivened by the band of Bugles and Drums St. Mary Magdalene and Jesus of Love Stripped.
