This cycle, which is taught at the Institute of Valle del Segura White Secondary Education will enable these students to work in both government and private companies, planning and organizing leisure activities for groups in rural and natural environments, such as hiking, bike trails or rafting.
The Director General of Vocational Training, Joaquín Buendía, today visited the town of Blanca and met with the mayor, Rafael Laorden to discuss this degree and the rest of the training offered by the municipality.
"This cycle was introduced last year with very good reception and for the future we want to continue to improve the training of students to increase their chances of finding a job in a dynamic sector and higher," he said.
Students acquire theoretical training with learning to manage in outdoor environments, receiving first aid knowledge and biological foundations, leadership and group dynamics, design of physical activities for people with disabilities or are taught some notions of administration, management and marketing of SMEs to be able to start their own business.
This approach also guarantees students that at least one third of their training is done with paid internships in companies related to their industry practices.
In addition to this cycle of FP Dual, which also takes place in La Alberca, Puerto Lumbreras and Caravaca, IES Valle del Segura Blanca offers a series of new modality of Basic Training Electricity Electronics, which replaces the previous Qualification Program Initial Operations Professional Plumbing and HVAC.
