Work conditions improve circulation section comprising between N-344 and the A-33, which connects the A-30 to Jumilla and assumes a high traffic intensity
The Ministry of Development, Public Works and Planning, through the Directorate General of Highways, has begun work to improve the road safety of MRI-A20 road, which connects the White Station with molinense hamlet of La Hurona, amounting to nearly 160,000 euros.
The works, which will run until December this year, will include repair firm in a stretch of a kilometer of this road, especially between mile markers 0.0 and 0.9.
The Director of Roads, José Guijarro said the stretch of the A-regional road 20 comprises between N-344 and the A-33, which runs from the A-30 to Jumilla and in the future will continue to Yecla , Caudete and Pozo de la Higuera, and indicated that this road "has become particularly relevant since the entry into service of the first section of the motorway, as it is used for connecting the same with Abarán".
"This is a much needed work and that reinforcing firm is one of the most important points in the design of the regional road network, especially on roads with high traffic of vehicles, such as this road" noted the CEO.
Work to improve the course would consist of a small widening of the road platform, pavement strengthening and improving the longitudinal drainage.
