The Governing Council, on a proposal from the Ministry of Health and Social Policy, has authorized the Murciano Institute of Social Action (IMAS) to extend the agreements it has with municipalities Sewer and Blanca, for a total amount of 219 120 euros, order to increase the supply of residential places for older people living in both municipalities.
Specifically, it has approved an addendum to the agreement with the City Sewer amounting to 187,296 euros for the years 2014 and 2015, which will increase to 11 the number of places in the residence managed by this session.
Thus, the current offer public squares in the center, which is 24, will rise to 35, which will involve a total investment by the IMAS of 676,193 euros.
Regarding the agreement with the City of White shall be extended to 31,824 euros, also for the years 2014 and 2015, and will increase two public squares in the residence of the town.
So far, the agreement provided for the reservation and occupation of 33 seats for 2013-2015.
With this addendum, over the past two years' duration, the supply rises to 35 seats, so that at the end of the agreement the IMAS be earmarked for this residence a total of 742,533 euros.
The aim of these agreements is to provide comprehensive care for older people in situations of dependency that require some care and services in activities of daily living that they can not receive in their social environment due to family reasons.
