On days 21, 22 and 23 February was played in the I Foundation Pedro Cano Chess Tournament Villa Blanca organized by the Department of Sports and Chess Club Villa Blanca.
A total of 100 players, coming from various parts of the country, have played the championship that has had such winner David Jordan Castellon, who has faced Francisco Javier Barranco in the last round
David Jordan Castellon, has won the First Chess Tournament Villa Blanca Pedro Cano hosted the Foundation during this weekend.
The championship has had a total of one hundred participants from all over Spain who have played the tournament in the form of seven rounds Swiss system.
The championship, organized by the Department of Sports and Chess Club Villa Blanca, rate in world rankings of FIDE (World Chess Federation).
