The Pedro Cano Foundation hosts until April 3 exhibition that gathers 24 works selected XIV Painting Prize Fine Arts at the University of Murcia.
Last night the show opened at a ceremony attended by Mayor White, Rafael Laorden, the Vice President for University Extension and eGovernment, Mercedes Farias, the blanqueño painter, Pedro Cano, the coordinator of the Fine Arts Classroom, Francisco Caballero and the director of the Museum of the Foundation Pedro Cano, Mary Carmen Sánchez-Rojas.
The first blanqueño mayor expressed his satisfaction that Blanca upheld, again, this award because "is a great example of the commitment of the municipality for contemporary art in one of its most representative spaces such as the Fundación Pedro Cano" said Laorden .
The exhibition Prize winning play, "The House of Hong Kong ', Simon Zabell by Picasso that was equipped with a single prize of five thousand euros.
The jury also awarded two runners.
One by Miguel Hernández Sáez for his work 'Capital X', part of the sample, and another by Keke Vilabelda 'Acid-house'.
Alongside these two works, join other 22 the jury appointed to form part of the exhibition will remain in the museum until blanqueño April 3.
