The White Tourist Office, as it has done every weekend, offers two guided tours of the town.
The municipal mayor, Rafael Laorden supports this initiative which aims to bring the natural environment and cultural heritage both citizens and visitors to "choose our people as a tourist destination."
According to the mayor "White as a tourist destination is fashionable. Through tourism declines by the Segura River have again become the inner city of most visitors to the Region of Murcia, during the summer period, and should boost tourism as municipality's economic engine. "
The guided tours for the weekend consist of a tour of the natural environment and a visit by the route of the Via del Arte with final destination Pedro Cano Foundation "cultural emblem of the municipality" as Laorden assured.
The first one will be free and will start on Saturday the 26th, at 10.30 am from the Museum of Light and Water (Avenida Rio Segura) to White Marsh in the park of Las Cuevas, stopping at the viewpoint of the High Bayna, where visitors will be suspended over the river Segura and you can see the town center, with its old town under the remains of the castle located in the Peña Negra, and orchard of Blanca at the foot of the hills of Solan and Navela.
The second route is scheduled for Sunday, the 27th, departing at 10 am from the Museum of Light and Water.
it is a cultural tour of the sculptures that make the Way of Art contains the works of great artists such as Antonio Campillo, Juan Asensio, Josep Pedrós I Ginestar or Bernardi Roig.
Continue the route with a visit with a guide, to Pedro Cano Foundation, which will feature a performance of the musical group from White to give a concert on the terrace of the Museum.
This second route will cost five euros for adults and one euro for children under 12 years
