The Governing Council has given the green light to a grant from the Ministry of Health and Social Policy, through the Instituto Murciano Social Action (IMAS), for a total amount of 1,696,728 euros, to serve seniors in a position of dependence in the towns of White and Bullas.

Of the total, 710 709 euros is earmarked to hire 33 seats in the elderly residence 'Virgen de los Dolores, Blanca, and 275 310 euros for 18 places at the day center for elderly dependents of Bullas.

The purpose of these provisions is to provide older people about services that meet their social needs and to provide them with quality comprehensive care and basic levels of social welfare.
