"It is a tribute to the tradition of White Township taurine with its cultural project of Villa del Toro as the core of these Celebrations" said the mayor.

Mayor White, Rafael Laorden inaugurated yesterday at night, the sculpture 'The bull of the Villa' who chairs the Segura River Avenue, opposite the MUCAB, and will serve as a symbol of the cultural project Blanca Villa del Toro.
"This sculpture serves as recognition of the great tradition of bullfighting with the closure of the municipality, as well as being declared of Regional Tourist Interest, is considered one of the oldest in Spain," said Laorden.
The opening ceremony was preceded by the reading of the Proclamation of the Bullfighting Festival this year has gone to the figure of José Antonio Laveda blanqueño, who recalled and reviewed bullfighting traditions of the municipality.
The painter Luis Fernández was in charge of presenting the crier who was accompanied by the mayor of Blanca and the chairmen of the local bullfighting associations 'A porta gayola' and 'Circle Bullfighting'.
