The past weekend, Ruiz Cano and got great results in Spain Cup 1000 meters which was held last weekend in the swamp of Verducido (Pontevedra) and is the first of such tests to be part of Team National.
Amador Ruiz was sixth in the Senior category C1, getting the bronze medal in its category, the U-23, while Jose Javier Cano finished fourth in the B final, or what is the same, at position 13 of overall in Senior category K1, reaching sixth place in its category, the U-23.
With these results, the canoeists of Blanca ensure practically a square to join the National Team that will compete in the European Championship in Poland.
Today, with the merits obtained in Spain Cup, Amador would be within the places to compete with the Spanish Canoe Federation in the European Under-23, and Jose Javier also get square to be discarded once the Olympic canoeists.
