The Villa Book continues tomorrow Friday 22 March in Rio de Letras literary cycle.
This time, the writer Madrid Planeta Prize Lorenzo Silva host a conference entitled "The time of the Spanish thriller".
Through this activity, which will take place at 18:30 in the Auditorium of MUCAB, the Department of Culture of the City of White has offered attendees the opportunity to see live some of the names of the reference current Spanish literature, as well as venture into narrative and lyrical universes which are in the creative process.
Authors like Soledad Puértolas, Manuel Vicent, Inocencio Arias and José María Álvarez have participated throughout 2013 in this program, which ends on Thursday April 25 with writer Ildefonso Falcones.
Lorenzo Silva
Lorenzo Silva was born in Madrid in 1966 and studied law at the Complutense University.
Known especially for writing detective stories, featuring the Civil Guards Bevilacqua and Chamorro, Silva is also Planeta Prize 2012 for his book "Blood Meridian".
He has worked as a screenwriter, and works in newspapers and magazines Vocento group and in El Mundo, ABC and El País.
He also works in radio, in the COPE.
Throughout his career, he has written numerous stories, articles and literary essays, and various novels that have earned international acclaim from critics and "Impatient Alchemist," which won the Nadal Prize in 2000, or "The Weakness of the Bolshevik".
