Jose Antonio Cano, known in the village of White as "The Frayle", was the person designated by the council of Celebration to give the opening speech of the festivities of the municipality.
The event will be held on Sunday March 31 at the Victoria Theatre, which also crowned the queens of the holidays to be chosen this Sunday, February 24.
Currently, Cano is pastor of Our Lady of the Rosary of Bacons Bridge.
Position he has played since 2005.
First of all, he feels "a blanqueño love their land and a priest in love with Jesus Christ."
Despite fulfilling his ecclesiastical function outside their hometown, Cano has always been closely linked to Blanca, very young participating in all the activities that have marked the tradition and roots of the municipality.
He was part of the theater group TEA, who led Esperanza Castillo.
He was a founding member and later president of the Youth Council.
He was part of the Band and Chorus and Dance Group.
And now, I work in the school's pastoral "La Milagrosa" in teacher training and parent.
