Mayor White, Rafael Laorden reported this morning, the official tally of artists who have applied for scholarships stay at the Residence of Artists 'La Negra', located in the Central Black.
The City has received since being convened in February, a total of 45 applications have come from Murcia and other autonomous regions such as Valencia, Andalusia and Madrid, and also other countries like France, Italy, Cuba, Mexico and Colombia.

"These two grants that were convened by the Department of Culture, during the month of September and the period after closing on 30 May, we reached the figure of 45 applications among which are artists from countries such as Cuba, Colombia and Mexico have expressed interest in our town, "said the mayor, who said that within a fortnight would be issued the ruling.
In addition to the Latin American countries, the council has received requests from artists from France and Italy and the Region of Murcia and other communities of the country such as Valencia, Andalusia, Madrid and Castilla Leon.
