Last night he opened the exhibition 'Le Chien vert' Murcian artist Antonio Ballester, in a ceremony attended by the Mayor of White, Rafael Laorden, accompanied by the Councillor for Culture, Esther Horton, and other members of the Municipal Corporation.
Museum director Pedro Cano Foundation, presented by the artist shows that remain in the temporary exhibition hall until 30 March.
'Le Chien vert' ('Green Dog') is the title of the exhibition of artist Antonio Ballester Murcia which opened last night Pedro Cano Foundation Blanca.
The museum's director of the foundation, Mari Carmen Sanchez-Rojas, expressed his great satisfaction at being able to show the work of Ballester of whom claims to be a "very remarkable multidisciplinary artist, known for the radical courage of his works, which always amazed and captivated the Murcia public. "
The exhibition, which is in the temporary exhibition hall of the Foundation and will remain there until 30 March, aims to connect with large facets of painting, sculpture and photography included in the most innovative artistic proposals.
Antonio Ballester, born in Paris in 1952, defines himself as a "multidisciplinary artist" that after passing through the ESAG, Ecole Supérieure dart Graphique, Paris, extended his activity to photography, painting, sculpture and graphic and industrial designs.
His first solo show opened in 1975 in the gallery Cys of Murcia and then started a long history of exhibitions in different cities.
He has exhibited several times in Madrid, in the gallery Seiquer and three times in ARCO, though so more is remembered especially for his project Ballester is 'One car show (1996-2004)', in the church of Verónicas Murcia.

Ballester also highlights the sample 'A chair and two painters', a solo exhibition of 2010 in which Ramón Gaya honored in the museum, on the centenary of his birth.
