The Villa Book already has a literary way.
This morning, the councilman of Culture of the City of White, Esther Horton opened with other members of the Municipal Corporation of the Free Road that runs one of the busiest streets of the town, the former New Street.
"This is a route dedicated to reading and the book, which extol the values that the company acquires through reading, and thanks to the book how we can become better people," Horton said.
The Way of Letters starts his journey with a text by Luis Alberto de Cuenca which lies between the River Segura Avenue and Calle José Antonio where, as it passes through this street, they discover a dozen thoughts that exalt the Book, as reflected some of the phrases inscribed as "Lee and lead. Do not read and you will be taken" or "Where are the books you want people"
The literary tour ends at the City Library with a quote from our most universal writer, Miguel de Cervantes Saavedra, who says "He who reads much and travels much, sees much and knows so much."
This pathway of the letters is part of the cultural project of the Book Villa Blanca, the town began in 2009 when he joined the International Network of municipalities under the name of Villas del Libro.
"A project that started with the intention not only to encourage reading, but to make it an everyday experience and accessible to all citizens," said the mayor of Culture.
The route starts with the text of Luis Alberto de Cuenca:
"Those who, since childhood, we used the print to combat loneliness, boredom and anxiety, we have not read is never raised whether good or bad, if culture is positive or pernicious, if distracted by a book is better or worse than drunk, take his bride to the neighbor or go to the gym regularly. We read, read and read because it is the only thing we do to fight the blues, to forget about death, and because it amuses us to read, and taste Alcohol does not just taste, and the exercise bores us, and gives no morbid betrayal. Books are therefore our best friends, who are always on our side and we never fail "
The phrases that make up the Way of Letters from the previous text to the Municipal Library are:
A book is your best gift
Books are friends that never disappoint
Reading is the only sovereign act that remains
The book is measured by the well that produces
Beware the man of one book
The good reader that makes the good book
A place without books is like a body without a soul
Reading does not give man wisdom, knowledge gives
Reading enlarges the world
The good book is the world heritage
You can not live without books
To travel far there is no better ship than a book
Lee and lead.
Do not read and will be led
There is nothing more beautiful than the look of a child reading
The books are free who wants
The book talks and soul answers
Where you want to book you want people
Writing is the painting of the voice
Literature is the art of the word
He who reads much and travels much, sees much and knows a lot
