The City of White gave last night at the Victoria Theatre, Sports Merit Medal to Jose Javier Cano Jiménez canoeist by the successes at the World Junior Canoeing held in Germany last July, where he was Champion and Runner's World.
The city council also honored with this award to the White Canoe Club, a club that owns the World Champion.

Laorden said the "commitment and effort, dedication and sacrifice, humility" as outstanding values ​​of the young paddler.
"When people move, people move. Thanks to people like Jose Javier, White became a popular place for everyone. It is a pride for all inhabitants of the municipality."
White City Council approved granting this right in Sports Merit Medal both young canoeist and the White Canoe Club, sports association which takes nearly 50 years inculcating the values ​​of sport blanqueña society.
