PCPI begins with a specialization in Operations Assistant for Agriculture and Agri-Food Processing, where ten young people between 16 and 20 are formed in the core subjects of the ESO while learning a profession.
In its commitment to training and employment, the City of White starts a year, the Initial Vocational Training Program (PCPI) with specialization in Operations Assistant for Agriculture and Agri-Food Processing.
This program is aimed at young people between 16 and 20 who have not completed compulsory secondary education and who want to learn a profession, while forming in the core subjects of the ESO.
For ten months, fifteen students who are part of this initiative will learn the intricacies of municipal gardening and plants, and other basic character skills, guided by two professionals in the field.
The teachers, Mary and Patricia Molina Lova, Teacher of Elementary and Agricultural Engineer, respectively, form the young participants through classroom lectures and practical classes to be held in the gardens and parks in the municipality.
The course is divided into a basic training program and other specialized training.
The basic materials are treated as a Second Language, Mathematics, Geography and Physical Education, while the specialist are taught subjects related to agriculture, maintenance and installation of gardens, irrigation or handling of pesticides.
