His statement relates to open proceedings for an alleged crime against the natural resources and the environment arising from the activity for several years (at least since 2003), held an illegal dump in the town of Blanca.
This illegal dumping is owned by the municipality, and is located in the Monte Municipal Consorciado No. 41 called "The Navel and El Solano, owned also the consistory, and within a protected area for its high ecological value: Special Protection Area for (SPAs) Sierra de Ricote, the Navel.
Ecologists in Action for the municipality knew too well the situation of illegality of the landfill and its operation has allowed for years, and has even agreed arrival prompted its management through a private commercial facility that has exploded, causing a serious deterioration environment, and causing the destruction of protected flora.
In all this time Ecologists in Action, and Service Protection of Nature of the Guardia Civil (SEPRONA), have repeatedly denounced the dumping of all types of waste, without any control measures in a protected natural area.
Complaints that have resulted in economic sanctions, and decisions to close the landfill that the municipality has ignored.
In this situation, in July 2009, Ecologists in Action decided to refer the incident to the Office of Environment and Planning.
