The deputy of the Popular Group Jesus Cano today demanded the government delegate, Rafael González Tovar, "to fulfill its promises to the Museum and White Artists' Centre (MUCAB)" which promised, as he explained, "at first term, 300,000 euros for the construction of the building and then 50,000 for the Foundation Pedro Cano. Jesus Cano explained that "the building of the museum, who have collaborated with numerous companies, has cost 10 million euros, of which the Autonomous Community has financed 9."
The MUCAB was inaugurated last November 11 by President Valcárcel and within it is the Foundation Pedro Cano.
The popular MP highlighted the opening of the Foundation as one of the most important events of 2010 ", as also pointed out some of the most important of the Region of Murcia.
"The Fundación Pedro Cano is one of the biggest and best exhibition spaces of the Murcia Region of contemporary art. It is a proof that the Regional Government commitment to art and artists from Murcia. Is further evidence of the large investment Government on cultural matters. For this reason, Cano has called on the Socialists in the Region of Murcia "immediately claiming the Government of Spain, through the Government Delegate, pay what he promised."
