White City Council today extended its sports council's commissioning of two new paddle tennis and a sports complex built in the neighborhood of the station.
The Minister of Presidency and Public Administration, María Pedro Reverte, and Mayor White, Rafael Laorden, inaugurated the new sports facilities, which have involved a total investment of 131,488 euros, of which 118,339 have been contributed by the Autonomous Community.
The new tracks were built on a plot designed to free space for sports equipment.
The paddle has 200 square meters each and the tennis occupies an area of 260 square meters.
In the opening ceremony, noted that this action Reverte improve sports facilities in the neighborhood, prevents displacement of the residents at the center of town, nine miles away, and also allows students the Virgen del Pilar College have the infrastructure to develop their sporting activities.
The Ministry of the Presidency and government, through funds from the Works and Services Plan for this year, has also aided in the town of Blanca other action to improve the road from the station, amounting to 87,443 euros, and the construction of a parking in the municipal sports center, amounting to 84,431 euros.
