The Mayoress of Blanca, Esther Hortelano, delivered last night the National White Villa del Toro award to the municipality of Villaseca de la Sagra for the promotion and promotion of bullfighting in their bullfighting fair.

The awards ceremony took place at the Pedro Cano Foundation in an event that was enlivened by the Belén Laorde Dance School.
The national award, awarded by the town council of Blanca, fell on this occasion in the municipality of Villaseca de la Sagra on behalf of all municipalities working for the defense and promotion of bullfighting, through the organization of their bullfighting fairs they are the basis of this bullfighting party.
In this regard, the regional awards, designated by bullfighting critics, were given to Veronica de Haro, university professor and journalist, awarded for being the creator and promoter of the Taurine Journalism courses and author of the book dedicated to the Charity Festival held on the occasion of the earthquakes of Lorca.
In addition, she has been the curator of the exhibition "Capotes con Historia".
Another of the awards went to the painter Nicolás de Maya for his commitment to bullfighting, which appears profusely in the different artistic disciplines that dominates brilliantly, and for his outstanding collaboration and support to the Club Taurino de Cehegín.
The right-hander Cartagena, Ortega Cano, was another of the recognized for his extensive and brilliant professional career, which makes him the maximum historical figure of regional bullfighting and on the occasion of his definitive withdrawal from the ring.
The prize of the right-hander, who could not attend for personal reasons, was picked up by Mariano Molina.
