Starting tomorrow, Thursday, three young people with disabilities will carry out training practices in different councils of the municipality of Blanca, during a period of three months.
This initiative comes hand in hand with the program 'Together we are able', that promotes the Mapfre Foundation and that lands in the municipality after the signature of an agreement between the Municipal Consistory and the Association of Mental Health Cieza and Region, AFEMCE, the past 25 July, 2017
The objective of this agreement is to promote the employment of young people with intellectual disabilities and mental illness, in order to alleviate the discrimination and inequality in which this group of people is.
The City Council of Blanca has been demonstrating continuously its great commitment to people with disabilities, supporting different actions in the workplace.
These practices will improve the employability of the three participants, increasing their chances of employment.
