The municipality of Blanca will attend the XXXVIII edition of the International Tourism Fair (Fitur), which will be held in Madrid from January 17 to 19, with an integrated space at the Murcia Region stand, in which it will present a new tourist project in which the council has worked during 2017 and will start from March this year.
The Mayoress of Blanca, Ester Hortelano, and the Councilor for Tourism, Culture, Employment, New Technologies and Communication, Ángel Pablo Cano will attend the Fair where they will announce the new project that has been selected by the Tourism Qualification Center, CCT, for its presentation on Friday 19 from 13 hours.
It is an initiative in which "all the actors involved in the promotion and promotion of tourism in the municipality have been taken into account," said the mayor.
"The visitor who does not know it will be attracted by its scenic beauty or its cultural values ​​and will be fascinated by the character of its people" underlined Ángel Pablo Cano, mayor of Tourism.
The tourist descents by the Segura river and the natural and cultural legacy of the locality are the central pillar on which the plan of tourist promotion that will have the month of March as launch date coincides with the beginning of the summer campaign has been constructed .
From that moment, the municipality will have a tourism website, a new identity and design of its tourism brand, tourist maps of the municipality and audiovisual resources of all kinds that serve to make known the natural and cultural values ​​of the town of the Vega del Segura.
