The Ministry of the Presidency and Development will invest more than 100,000 euros in the rehabilitation of 21 homes of public promotion in the municipalities of Blanca and Villanueva.

This was announced today by the Director General of Territorial Planning, Architecture and Housing, Laura Sandoval, during her visit to Blanca, one of the areas that will be intervened in the coming months.

The Official Bulletin of the Region of Murcia today publishes the tender for both contracts, which are framed in the Area of ​​Rehabilitation and Urban Regeneration (ARRU) of the Vega del Segura, defined in the Housing Plan promoted by the Autonomous Community and the Ministry of Development.

The director of Territorial Planning recalled that these works are financed 65 percent by the regional Administration and the rest, by state funds.

Laura Sandoval explained that, in Blanca, a total of 10 homes will be rehabilitated in the neighborhood of La Estación, where repair works will be carried out that will consist of changing the waterproofing and screed of the common access areas.

The bidding budget for Blanca's homes is close to 50,000 euros, while Villanueva's budget amounts to 54,000 euros for the rehabilitation of 11 homes in the vicinity of Cuna Street.

The execution period of both works is 12 weeks.
