The events scheduled during this week are organized by the Local Board of the Spanish Association Against Cancer in collaboration with the City Council, who invite all whites and visitors to participate to make Blanca a living municipality, at the same time in solidarity.
Blanca, November 9, 2013.- The City of Blanca organizes together with the Spanish Association Against Cancer the sixteenth edition of the 'Blanca por la vida' week.
The events around the fight against cancer will begin this Saturday, day 11, with the opening gala 'Singing and Dancing for Life' of which singers and dance groups of the municipality are part.
During this week, in which the town of Valle del Segura fights for life, the events scheduled at the Victoria Theater stand out, such as the performance of the group Las Atrevidas, which will perform on Sunday the 12th, at 8:00 p.m.
That same morning will be held the charity race 'The Wlaking White Runners' with about 500 participants who will compete for the environment of the reservoir and the mountains of La Navela and El Solán, where they spend much of the 16 kilometers of the test, which opens the regional league of mountain races of the FAMU.
On Tuesday 14, the family doctor of the Blanca Health Center, Rosario González Romero, will give an informative talk about cancer prevention.
The next day, on Wednesday, the relay race will take place, which every year has more followers and in which the boys and girls of the municipality participate together with an adult.
The events will end on Saturday the 18th with the traditional charity dinner that will take place at the El Cruce restaurant.
