The Minister of Education and Universities, María Isabel Sánchez-Mora and the mayor of Blanca, Esther Hortelano, visited today the school Antonio Molina of the town to plan the expansion to be developed this year.
Specifically, according to Sánchez-Mora, "various actions will be undertaken to provide the center with more space."
The Ministry of Education and Universities is already working on the drafting of the project for which initial 100,000 euros have been allocated.
During the working day the management team of the Ministry and the local government team analyzed the needs and educational infrastructure of the municipality, which has invested about 700,000 euros since 2014.
Thus, among the actions that have been carried out, it is worth noting the cover on the sports court at CEIP Virgen del Pilar, the extension of the IES Valle del Segura and the improvement in the electrical installation of CEIP Antonio Molina González.
On the other hand, the counselor visited the school La Milagrosa de Blanca to analyze the needs of the center.
