The vacancy of councilman that left free Rafael Laorden, after his resignation, was yesterday officially occupied by the new councilor of the Popular Party, Maria del Carmen Rios, who swore before the Spanish Constitution the fulfillment of his position.
Another of the points highlighted yesterday in the ordinary plenary session was the election of the new Justice of the Peace, which fell to the person of María Pilar Laorden Fernández, having 12 favorable votes from the Municipal People's Group (6), Group Municipal Socialist (4) and Municipal White Group Can (2), and abstention (1) of the mayor of Citizens.
The fourth point of the session dealt with the modification of the Fiscal Ordinance regulating the construction and works tax, which received approval with votes in favor of PP (6) and Blanca Can (2), while PSOE (2) and Citizens (1) abstained.
With this new modification, the Municipal Consistory has made a reduction of said tax adapting to the prices that current market
The last of the points of the first part of the Plenary concluded with the unanimous approval of the procurement contract for the supply and installation of public lighting equipment for the lighting improvement and energy efficiency of the municipality.
It will improve the lighting system in areas such as the Industrial Estate and the Park of the Caves, among others, as well as economic savings.
Among the highlights of the second part of the plenary, Control and Inspection, are the appointment of Angel Pablo Cano, as Speaker of the Municipal People's Group to Angel Pablo Cano, Ernesto Ortega as Mayor of Barrio de la Estación Blanca .
