The neighborhood of White Station prepares to celebrate the festival in honor of the Virgen del Pilar, from 1 to 12 October.
The events begin next Saturday, October 1, with the closure-release of young bulls (12 hours) and the back route cane and top where large crowds gather in the center of the blanqueña neighborhood.
Continuing acts of the first weekend with the traditional pilgrimage to the Source of Javé where hundreds of faithful accompany her mistress to the site located in the Sierra de la Pila, with the brass band 'Informal' enliven the journey.
One of the activities that attract public population during the holidays is the show-contest of floats and this year will be on Sunday 9, at 5 pm.
Prizes will be 200 euros for the best float 100 for the second, and 100 euros for the best animation and costumes.
As for the musical events, the park Juan XXIII host performances by Michel Habana (Friday, 7), the monologue of Juan Luis Hurtado, Roper, and the subsequent performance of Iguana Show (Saturday 8) and concerts by Rosa Maria Lujan, finalist of the TV show 'a tu vera' (Sunday, 9) and the flamenco group 'Al Relente' (Tuesday 11).
Younger guests will enjoy the musical show 'The pirate Blackbeard' posse Drilo, on Tuesday, 11 6 pm, as well as free attractions on Monday 10 starting at 5 pm, and half price on 11.
The other featured acts which complete the festive week will be the crowning of the homecoming queen and putting bands Court Bridesmaids (Friday, 7), the paella contest and parade of giants and big heads (Saturday 8) and contest gachasmigas (Monday 10).
