It is the first workshop on the Black Rock organized by AADK Spain and curated by
Abraham Hurtado and Lorenza Manfredi.
It has received 7 international mentors and teachers of architecture Enrique Nieto (University of Alicante) and Thilo Folkerts
(Berlin).
Azzedine Elena and Juan Conesa, Spain AADK team have been invited experts context for tracking the workshop whose aim has been to read in depth a context through various approaches.
This is an experimental and experiential project through which a group of young professionals from different disciplines have shared 10 days together in Blanca, trying to understand the qualities and characteristics of abandoned corrals
the area of ​​La Peña Negra.
Performance, facilities, physical and sensory mapping, video work, discussions and drifts were the tools used to experiencing and understanding the context.
The end result has been the development of project proposals and identify possible ways to activate this spatial context, enhancing its beauty, which can be useful for the inhabitants of Blanca.
