The City of White has begun the cleanup in the Rambla de San Roque so that, given the possible torrential rains that occur at this time of year, not waterlogging houses and vehicles in the neighborhood of the Cafe as already happened on other occasions.
Such action is justified by a report from the local police detailing the state of the channel and, above all, by the letter sent to the Consistory by neighbors with more than 200 signatures, in requesting the immediate cleaning and proper maintenance of the rambla de San Roque.
The municipality requires the CHS paying the cleaning of the Rambla de San Roque
The Hydrographic Confederation of Segura (CHS) has authorized the execution of cleaning work "to find such action appropriate to preserve the drainage capacity of the channel," according to the letter sent to the Consistory.
The works, which began yesterday under the supervision of CHS and a favorable report from the Environment, have cost about 4,000 euros, for now, will be borne by the municipal coffers "by claiming the CHS who have no budget" as revealed yesterday the mayor, Pedro Luis Molina.
He added that "we will seek the appropriate legal formula for expenses paid us"
