The Councillor for Sports, Luis Toledo, and the President of the Athletics Federation of Murcia (FAMU), Juan Manuel Molina presented this morning the popular race '10K Fiestas de San Pedro' which houses the town on Saturday June 25, at 20 hours.
The race, now in its eighth edition, is included in the Official Calendar of "Running Murcia Challange 2016".
The presentation has also been the president of Club Atletico Villa Blanca, organizer of the event along with the Department of Sports, who has said they expect more than 250 participants.
Registrations are still open through the website of the FAMU (www.famu.es) until Wednesday 22.
This year has established a category of children who will start at 19.30 and whose registration can be done the same day, from 18:30 to 19:15 hours.
The start and finish will be located at the Museum of Light and Water, on Avenida del Rio Segura and tour the most important places of the town, through the main street of the village and the environment of the swamp, where they cross the whole area blanqueña of the garden, surrounded by orange and lemon trees.
It is a place full of hills and steep slopes that make these ten thousand meters a demanding test circuit.
