White Township lived yesterday a historical fact when choosing through a process of citizen participation the new street names subject to change of name, to give due compliance with the law of historical memory.
All day yesterday, the residents registered in the streets subject to change chose the new name of its streets on a day when the Mayor White, Pedro Luis Molina, defined as "very fulfilling and enriching, since it is the first time the residents of the municipality decided through a process of Citizen Participation ".
After counting the votes, the July 18 Square will be renamed Plaza de la Iglesia, while Jose Antonio will Generalissimo and Main Street and New Street Blanca Blanca, respectively.
"So were known to all of Blanca and so have decided to be renamed" said the mayor.
Federico Servet Street will be renamed fruits Levante honoring a former fruit factory that was in that road.
General Aranda, Aranda García Morato and change their names to Professor D. José Molinica, Felipe VI and eleventh respectively.
The percentage share was around 30 percent and the new names will have to be examined to verify that they meet the Edict of City Hall.
