The City of White has convened for the first time, a participatory process aimed at the population to select the rename seven streets of the municipality affected by the Law of Historical Memory.
These are ways in which, in compliance with this law, the removal of references that persist linked to persons, entities, facts or distinctive signs of the Franco regime prevails.
Generalissimo, General Aranda, Garcia Morato, Aranda, Jose Antonio, Federico Servet and Square July 18 pathways are subject to change, whose popularity has voted all day today, Friday, June 3, at the Assembly Hall of the townhall.
The voting process that was established by the Commission of Calles created in date of October 21, 2015, it has been through ballots and ballot boxes.
In these ballots, citizens have indicated the name they want for their street and deposited in a closed casket.
