The City of White has convened for the first time, a participatory process aimed at the population to select the rename seven streets of the municipality affected by the Law of Historical Memory.
These are ways in which, in compliance with this law, the removal of references that persist linked to persons, entities, facts or distinctive signs of the Franco regime prevails.
Generalissimo, General Aranda, Garcia Morato, Aranda, Jose Antonio, Federico Servet and Square July 18 pathways are subject to change, whose fame will vote this Friday, June 3, in the Hall of the City Hall in the morning from 8 to 14 hours and in the evening, from 16 to 20 hours.
From the city council it appeals to all concerned citizens to come to the vote and may participate in this change.
In addition, any disabled person who can not attend the City Council to vote, may request that the ballot box is brought to your home to deposit their ballot.
The process that has been established by the Commission of Calles created in date of October 21, 2015 will be through ballots and ballot boxes.
In these ballots, citizens shall indicate the name they want for their street and deposited in a closed casket.
The City Council has already set concierge ballots for citizens to collect them before polling day.
Last Thursday, the government team held a meeting with citizens affected by the change of streets in which the mayor, Pedro Luis Molina, told residents that the City is responsible for notifying the change to all institutions and agencies officers.
