On the occasion of the celebration of International Book Day, Saturday 23th, the City of White Book Week celebrated with a series of activities aimed at all audiences.
The events begin this Thursday, April 21, with a poetry of the Generation of '27 by Ricardo Huerta.
It will be at the Victoria Theatre at 10 am and is aimed at students of 4th ESO and 1st High School, as well as all interested persons.
Admission is free until full capacity.
On Saturday April 23, World Book Day, two activities will be held at the Pedro Cano Foundation.
In the morning, from 11.30 am schoolchildren in the municipality will illustrate their favorite book by the painter Pedro Cano.
In the afternoon, at 18 hours, the Reading Club AS Blanca Miguel de Cervantes pay tribute to the 400th anniversary of his death, through reading his most universal work 'Don Quixote'.
The blanqueño writer, Emilio Soler Poveda "Cork", will be responsible for making the introduction to Act collected under the title 'Following Don Quixote'.
The City Council has made available to all interested persons, the material for the reading of the work in the Municipal Library.
In addition, the Councillor for Education, Fuensanta Turpin, has announced that soon will launch an activity Storytellers aimed at smaller town, between 4 and 10 years, which will take place on Saturday morning, in the municipal library
