Mayor White, Pedro Luis Molina, has this morning signed a collaboration agreement with the Federation of Associations Murcianas of People with Physical and Organic, FAMDIF / COCEMFE-Murcia, to promote actions aimed at promoting universal accessibility and elimination of architectural barriers in the municipality.
The signing between the mayor and the president of FAMDIF / COCEMFE-Murcia, Carmen Gil, has taken place in the Hall of the city council.
Among the actions to be taken is the Federation to conduct an audit in all public buildings to be determined to detect existing architectural barriers and propose alternatives accessible.
In addition, FAMDIF / COCEMFE perform advisory work, dissemination and promotion of training activities on accessibility and elimination of barriers aimed at managers and technicians of the Local Administration working in these areas.
Also they form part of the Standing Committee on Accessibility in the municipality.
For its part, the Consistory blanqueño carried a cash prize of 1,000 euros to the Technical Office Accessibility FAMDIF / COCEMFE in respect of expenses of the technicians who move to the municipality, also intended to meet the needs of the service.
The agreement will last for 3 years and renewable for similar periods unless the parties denounce it in writing, excluding the renewal of financial contribution that must be updated each year for approval by the City Council.
