The Blanca city council, through the Department of Public Safety and Environment, has installed surveillance cameras in various parts of the municipality to curb the misuse of garbage, waste and bulky dumps, control defecation and urine from animals and reinforce safety and street cleaning. With this measure and others that will be added, it is intended to raise awareness among some neighbors in civic behavior and in caring for our municipality and its natural environment, given the urgent need to end the problem of garbage and dirt and project a good image of our municipality to those who visit us. This is a limited number of cameras deployed in places where environmental violations, large deposits, continuous illegal dumping and even vandalism are committed, to prevent garbage from being dumped at any time of day or night in an irresponsible way , damaging the image of our town. From the Municipal Council we seek to maintain "Clean and Safe White", respecting the rules of use of containers, schedules and municipal services, and betting on raising awareness among citizens in this work, adding the installation of cameras to other environmental campaigns that will be adding up. "It is a project that will gradually expand to more areas and to which more initiatives will be added from these and other councils.
Cleaning our streets and surroundings is one of our main priorities, through a balanced policy of awareness and application of the ordinances ", declared the mayor of Blanca, Pedro Luis Molina.
