The event has been presented by the mayor of Blanca, Pedro Luis Molina, and the councilor for Celebrations, Vicente Candel, under the slogan 'Safe Culture'. The opera and zarzuela concert will lead to the reopening of the Victoria Theater, an emblematic place in Blanca that had to close due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
The event will have all the safety and hygiene measures: taking the temperature at the entrance (maximum 37th), mandatory mask, hand hygiene, limited capacity and disinfection of all elements of the facility.
Tickets will be sold at the MUCAB Building and will cost from € 18. The soprano will perform with a recital of Opera and Zarzuela with the baritone Luis Santana and the pianist José María Berdejo.
A great opportunity to enjoy both lyrical genres. The daughter of the disappeared opera star, Montserrat Caballé and of having Bernabé Martí is part of this show that can be enjoyed in Blanca, in a unique appointment.
The artists will give voice to themes from the Florentine Camerata and the Zarzuela Festival, which were born for a courtly public and eventually became popular. The council of Festejo announces that it will soon announce the rest of the Christmas program.
