| Firefighters rescue and evacuate a wounded hiker in Blanca by air | Firefighters from the Consortium for Fire Fighting and Rescue of the Region of Murcia (CEIS) belonging to its Air Rescue Group have rescued and evacuated by air a woman who was injured while hiking on a mountain near the Station Highway , in Blanca.
Health workers from the Emergency Management and Health Emergencies 061 have treated her and transferred her to the hospital.The 1-1-2 received, at 12:51 pm, a call from the Blanca Local Police informing of the accident and that, due to the rugged terrain, it was impossible to evacuate the wound by land.
CEIS firefighters were mobilized to the place by land, a helicopter from the General Directorate for Citizen Security and Emergencies with CEIS rescue firefighters and an ambulance with 061 health personnel.
After being rescued and evacuated, the victim was made available to the health services emergency, who have stabilized her and transferred her to the hospital with a possible fracture in her leg / ankle.
