The Pedro Cano Foundation has hosted, today, the presentation of the "Morisco Way of the Ricote Valley" project of the Ruralmur Association.
The mayor of Blanca, Pedro Luis Molina, accompanied by the Councilor for Tourism, Ana Belén López, attended the event.
In addition, the act has been chaired by the Minister of Tourism of the Region of Murcia, Cristina Sánchez, by the white painter, Pedro Cano, by the President of Ruralmur, Antonio Manuel Céspedes, and by several mayors of the municipalities of the Valle de Ricote . This project carried out by Ruralmur joins the tourism promotion plan of our municipality "Blanca Corazón Del Valle de Ricote". The presentation of the same has concluded with the performance of the flamenco singer Victoria Cava who delighted the audience with her spectacular voice. The Morisco Valley Ricote Path is a project developed by the Ruralmur Association, a newly created path that connects Murcia Center with the Ricote Valley. The tour begins in the Cathedral of Murcia passing through the municipalities of Alcantarilla, Molina del Segura, Alguazas, Lorquí, Ceutí, Archena, Villanueva del Río Segura, Ulea, Fortuna, Abanilla, Ricote, Ojós, Blanca, Abarán and Cieza. "This initiative is very positive for Blanca and for the Ricote Valley, since it highlights the Ricote Valley, where our municipality is located, as a tourist attraction and shows it as one of the wonders of the interior of the Murcia Region.
In addition, this project aims to recover our history and put it in value to promote the common good and improve the lives of our neighbors.
